Myths and epics at school: paths and printable cards

The Atlas was also made for schools: the legends of your own region for local history, the great myths for the epic poems studied in class. Every card tells the whole story (to read or to listen to), says where the story comes from and which sources it uses, and can be printed. Below there are four ready-made trails for the epic poems and the legends of every region.

Paths for the epics

The legends of your region

Every Italian region has its own page with five legends, the map and the sources. For local history you can start from your own region, read the cards in class and ask your grandparents whether they know other versions: sometimes the stories change from one village to the next. Every page has a “Print” button that prepares the cards on paper, without menus or unnecessary colours.

Printable cards

Every card has a “Print” button: it prints a clean sheet with the title, the text, the “Did you know?” and the sources. From a region page you can print all five legends together. For class work you can also use the theme trails and the quiz.

Ciro Simone Irmici

I build websites, apps and games. I built the Atlas with artificial intelligence and I check every card and every source myself. I am not a scholar of mythology: I tell these legends with respect and always say where they come from. If you know a legend from your town, write to me.
